MEET THE STAFF

WELCOME TO IRVINE UNITED CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER

My name is Irma Rosales, and I am the director of IUCC’s Early Childhood Center (ECC). I have worked in early childhood education for more than 30 years, and I have been director of the ECC since 2004. I am delighted that you have chosen to explore our website for an overview of our school. The best way to experience the ECC is to schedule a visit. Come for a tour. Ask questions. Spend time observing in a classroom. I know you will feel the warmth, respect, and care among our teachers, staff, families, and children.

As the director, I oversee the development of each child. From very early on in my career, I understood just how important it is for young children to gain a strong sense of self. Here at IUCC’s ECC, my staff and I individually foster each child toward that goal by focusing on the whole child. We feel this philosophy helps our students develop balance, which in turn gives them a strong foundation for learning. The ECC has a strong academic curriculum for children to attain the skills needed for kindergarten. We also spend a great deal of time teaching essential social skills, such as sharing and conflict management.

My staff and I work hard to maintain a positive learning environment that is fun and enjoyable for all children at our school, ages 18 months–5 years. As director of IUCC’s ECC, I have witnessed many happy years as our young students grow in knowledge and self-confidence.

Thank you again for your interest in IUCC’S Early Childhood Center. For more information or to schedule a tour, please call (949) 733-0228 or fill out an interest form. On behalf of myself and the entire ECC staff, we look forward to meeting you!

Warm regards,

Irma Rosales, Director
