Our Story

Woodbridge Children’s School is an intimate, warm boutique environment.

With over 40 years of rich history serving our community, we believe that every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and connective environment where they are seen and loved so they can learn!

In 1982 a group of educators wanted to offer the Village of Woodbridge and the greater Irvine Community a family-focused school where children thrive! The school opened its doors in 1984 and was led by our founding Director, Ruby Fulton, with a great love and commitment to the education and development of young children.

In 2024, the school board appointed a new Executive School Director, Sheila Rafat-Saint, and the school has been reimaged. After deep reflection with the faculty and staff on best practices, NAEYC standards, and research-based theories in Early Childhood Education, classroom spaces, curriculum standards, the outdoor learning programs, and the school menu were all updated to ensure each child is offered the very best!
