Our Promise

We are stronger together, at IUCC Early Childhood Center, and we firmly believe this to be true. That means valuing people for who they are regardless of background and experiences. As educators, we are responsible for creating a welcoming environment that attracts and retains the best faculty. Our team delivers on our most important obligation to impact and help shape young learners and start them early on the path of kindness, appreciation of diversity/inclusion, and respect for others.

Family Partnerships

Our school community values Strong Family Partnerships, where families and educators work together to support a child’s learning and development. The goal is to create a strong relationship between the home and the school environments, to support the child’s needs.

How family partnerships work:

  • Communication

Families and educators communicate regularly to share information about the child’s learning and development. On-going through our Pro-Care App and in person.

  • Shared goals

Families and educators share goals for the child, such as how to develop literacy or math skills. Goal Setting and Review twice per year formally through conferences in Fall & Spring.

  • Shared responsibility

Families and educators share responsibility for the child’s overall development.

  • Respect

Families and educators value each other’s expertise and respect each other’s unique backgrounds.
