Our Programs
2024-2025 School Year
Toddler Twos
Toddlers are active learners who learn best from the activities they plan and carry out themselves. These new communicators need a world filled with books, language experiences, and opportunities for a rich play-social environment. Our teaching teams provide experiences from which children learn. Our goal is for children to achieve confidence and self-discipline to develop increasingly sophisticated social and intellectual skills that prepare them for success throughout life.
Early Preschool
Twos are busy trying to learn about their world. They learn through trial and error, repetition, imitation, and experimentation and have constant urges to test and experiment. During this stage, we have the pleasure of watching children make astounding accomplishments; communicate needs and feelings, begin to develop impulse control, and become increasingly independent and competent. We help children thrive when we understand this unique stage of development, create environments that meet their needs, and encourage them to investigate the richness of their worlds.
Preschool
Our preschoolers are growing in confidence daily! Our program offers independent, teacher-directed, and small-group activities, that encourage investigation, exploration, and discovery. Our strengths-based model focuses on students interests in creating group and individual learning paths in the core learning areas of Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, STEM, Music/Art Creative Expression, and Social-Emotional.
Pre-Kindergarten
Our Pre-K students are in the home stretch! This critical year before Kindergarten is filled with cognitive and social milestones. Our combination constructivist curriculum encourages critical thinking and builds foundational skills in Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, STEM, Music/Art Creative Expression, and Social-Emotional learning. Junior-Kindergarten (TK/K Equivalent – Bonus Year) Junior kindergarten gives 4.5-5.5-year-olds an extra year to learn key skills before Elementary Kindergarten. This bonus year builds on previous early education experiences to get kids ready for elementary school. Our Junior-K lessons remain playful and hands-on, using games, songs, stories, and movement. They engage students while reinforcing learning across disciplines. Small class sizes and low student-teacher ratios enable personalized attention. We support each child’s diverse needs. The curriculum establishes both essential competencies and character development. It will benefit students throughout their education.
Enrichment
We offer a variety of Enrichment programs to provide students with opportunities to explore new interests, develop additional skills beyond the standard curriculum, boost confidence by pursuing their passions, and improve social skills through collaboration.
These are optional programs, with additional fees, that families can enroll their children in directly with the vendor billing/or with IUCC ECC and will be billed through monthly statements. Providers are ECC Team Members and outside vendors that provide a wide range of exciting and enriching programs for the children that take place at the school in the afternoon.
